CURRENT NEW MEXICO SOUTHERN BAPTIST DISASTER RELIEF DEPLOYMENTS: For those of you who are not currently part of New Mexico Southern Baptist Disaster Relief that would like to give back to our community, there is some training and a few requirements. NATION WIDE THERE ARE more than 1,000 UNITS IN THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST DISASTER RELIEF FLEET. NEW MEXICO HAS KITCHENS, WATER PURIFICATION, SHOWER, RECOVERY, GENERATORS, RAPID RESPONSE, INCIDENT COMMAND, ASSESSORS, CHAPLAIN, CHILDCARE, COMMUNICATIONS AND DRIVER TEAMS. WE HAVE OVER 500 TRAINED VOLUNTEERS HERE IN NEW MEXICO!

WE MEET EACH SATURDAY NIGHT AT 8:00 PM LOCAL MDST ON THE MEGA LINK VHF/UHF SYSTEM.

THE FOLLOWING PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WHILE DEPLOYED AT NSXM IN 2007. 937 MESSAGES WERE PASSED IN 28 HOURS USING UHF, VHF, FRS, WIFI AND CELL.OVER 750 VOLUNTEERS WERE DIRECTLY SUPPORTED DURING THIS OPERATION. MORE THAN 90% OF THE MESSAGES WERE LOGISTICS RELATED.
